First Day of School

Its official! Chloey started preschool at Riggs Elementary! The first day was great! Nikkii went along for moral support and Chloey didn’t even CRY! (Neither did Nik and I) Anyways to keep my mind off of things Nikkii and I went shopping. Go figure right! 10:30 came fast and I went in to peak at Chloey and she was sitting with all the kids and looking like she loved it. Once she saw me though she lost it! But the week went on and we had a couple days of crying but now she is a PRO! She walks in and puts her backpack away and off she goes! I can’t believe she is already in school. I know she loves it and I know it will really benefit her! I am so excited and happy for my little girl! :)

Happy Birthday to my big 3 year old! I love this little girl so much I just want to scream! Sometimes with joy and sometimes with anger! When she was born I didnt put her down or let her out of my sight! I thought for sure I had ruined her but believe it or not I didnt! She is the sweetest little girl! She loves her grandmas, grandpas, uncles, aunts and cousins so much. Her parents and sister...not so much! She is so very lucky to have such a great family that loves her so much! Well I am so behind on this I dont think I will ever be able to catch up! Anyways one Friday in December Stephen and I ditched Marlee at my moms and headed to the Polar Express with the Matson family. It was so much fun to spend time with family and to give Chloey that one on one attention she has needed for awhile!

Happy Birthday Stephen. Here are just 28 reasons why I love him so much!!

1. He is a very hard worker. He loves to work. He wont quit TC’s until he is probably 40.
2. He LOVES his family and mine very much.
3. He flirts with my mom, sisters and sister in laws!
4. He lets me shop with only a little bit of fuss.
5. He will run to the store for me whatever time of day.
6. He is an amazing FATHER.
7. He loves sport. If he can’t be good at the tools thing he still has sports to make him a manly man!
8. He wears shorts and a T where ever he goes. No matter how cold it is.
9. He has a twin. They do the twin thing and tell each other way to much info!
10.He farts in his sleep and it scares him!
11.He loves softball and we love to go watch.
12.He is always willing to get up with the girls in the middle of the night.
13.When he wants something, he gives it his all until he gets it.
14. He is really funny... and fun!
15. He can get along with, and make friends with ANYONE. Really.
16.He can always sense when its time to give me a break.
17. He loves to spend time with our girls
18. He will laugh at a fart joke every single time.
19. He loves and respects his parents.
20. He loves girly movies-that’s a bonus for me!
21. He loves sappy love songs.
22. He loves good food. Homemade when he gets it!
23. He looks for the good in everyone and always gives people the benefit of the doubt.
24. He doesn't need much to be kept happy. His wants are very simple. That makes things easy for me!
25. He is always willing to help out at home. All I have to do is ask.
26. He loves me at any weight.
27. He genuinely believes that his children and I only deserve the very best... a reason why he works so hard.

Finally some pictures of Marlee's first birthday party. We actually celebrated her birthday a week early so that all the little ones could trick or treat on Halloween. I have come to the conclusion I am the worst at writing so from now on...just pictures. =) So here they are!

Marlee turns one today! Wow it went by super fast! I remember when I was about to give birth and I just knew I didn’t want to have my little girl in the middle of the night or on Halloween! So what do you know...2am on Halloween morning I was on my way! I wouldn’t change it for anything now. She is going to have to coolest birthday on Halloween from here on out! Marlee is such a wonderful little baby girl with the best personality. I love when she gives me kisses then spits with disgust or when she tries to bite her sister with only two teeth, pulls her hair or will just cry and cry until I quit loving Chloey and give it all to her. She has been such a blessing to our family. I love having two girls so close. I know one day they will be best friends! Anyways Marlee we love you so much and hope you have a special Halloween birthday!

Happy Birthday to the most wonderful woman I know.
My mom is the only women I know who has 5 children and 13 grandchildren (one on the way) and still looks half her age! She is unbelievable. She can take on my two children who make me exhausted like nothing. She puts me to shame! She is energetic and spunky! She had 5 children and made it look easy. I have two and my mom has to come over clean my house, take my laundry home and plan my parties! Mom- Thank you so much for making my life easier- I hope to be half the mother and grandmother you are! If my two girls could say one thing it would be that you are the most fun and most wonderful grandma ever and they love every minute they are with you! Thank you and Happy Birthday!!

San Diego Fun

For my moms 60th birthday we kidnapped her and took her to San Diego! We left the little ones behind with the husbands and headed out on our well needed girls trip! Let me tell you it was the best time in a long time! Some of my favorite parts were...

-Calling my mom at 2:30 in the morning and telling her she had one hour to pack a bag and somebody would be there to get her
-Being pulled over by the cop and once in the clear Kristin asking him if she could take a picture
-Nik and I at QT with a sign at 4am and my mom thinking we were having a car wash
-Shopping with no kids in San Diego! It is so nice to actually look and not chase little ones!
-Pizza slices half our size
-Morning walk followed by great breakfast
-Laying on the beach
-Great weather
-Getting ready all at one time and just laughing
-Trying to go out for a nice dinner and it being a 2 hour wait everywhere and we are stuck in the rain
-Our rowdy upstairs company
-Shopping challenge
-Kris and I dressing up like SuSu!
-Nikkii and her little rip
-Gossip Magazines
-My mom teaching us all the tricks how to get our hair like hers
-Laughing, eating, laughing more, eating more
-Kristin making us laugh until we could have wet our pants

There is so much more but the best thing about the entire trip was just being able to spend that time with my mom, sisters and sister in laws! I think they are so fun to be around and my best friends so I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Hunsaker Family Reunion

First of all I can’t ever be the first one to blog about something that my family has done. My sisters always seem to beat me to it. They must have too much time on their hands! That being said we have the Hunsaker Family Reunion. What a blast! My family all loaded up in a 15 passenger van and we were off! Yes I did say all of us in a 15 passenger van! (Stephen I bet you wish you would have gone to work!) Once we got there it was well worth it! We got to visit with relatives we don’t get to see very often, play games and eat really good food! It’s always good for the kids and they all love to be around each other and hang out...well Chloey, she is kind of a loner. But she had a fabulous time regardless. So thank you Chad and Michelle for putting this together. We can’t wait until next year!

Water Fun!!

The other day we decided to take the girls to the Santan mall and play in the water feature area! Lins, Paisley Nikkii and the little kids she was babysitting Hopper and Kimber joined us! The kids thought it was so cool. To my surprise Chloey loved it!! (Marlee slept through it all!) We let them play there for awhile and since we are such great mothers we took them for ice cream after!! =)

First Date

The other day I went to go get my hair done so Nikkii was kind enough to babysit the girls. Well she decided to turn it into a little date and invite her friend Jessica and her two little boys! They are so stinking cute!! Anyways Marlee and Eric had the successful date enjoyed snacking, drinking their bottles and cuddling with their silky blankies. Ethan and Chloey had their fun too I’m sure but we will have to work on them a little bit more! Can you say arranged marriage =)

Labor Day

Labor Day weekend we were able to head up to Greer with my family! It was so nice to leave the hot sun for some much cooler weather. We enjoyed good food, fun and family. I have always dreaded having to drive with my girls in a car for more then an hour but they did great! Although Chloey made up for it the first night we got there by screaming for two hours straight but it got better! So a big THANKS to the Clarkson family for allowing us to stay in their cabin!! Can’t wait to do it again soon!

Cole Robert Estes has arrived!!

Cole is finally here!! He arrived at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, August 26th, weighing in at 9 lbs 9 ozs, 20 ¼ inches long!! Congrats Chris and Kim he is ADORABLE!

Marlee is almost TEN months. I took her for her 9 month appointment a little late and she is 18.5 pounds and 28 inches long. I have a feeling she will be the taller of my two girls! (Chloey was 31 inches long at age 2) Marlee is such a wonderful little baby girl. Pretty soon I won’t be saying baby anymore. She is growing up SO fast I can’t believe it. It just seems like I was bringing her home from the hospital the other day! She has started crawling and pulling her self up on things. This is such a wonderful and fun age!

My sister in law Kim is having her second baby boy soon so we threw her a little luncheon at a place called D Vine in Chandler. It really turned out cute and it was just good food and tons of fun! We are so excited to meet little COLE!

Take me out to the Ball Game

One of my girls favorite things in life is to be outside. No matter what we are doing as long as they are outside and out of the house. So Stephen plays softball with his dad, brother, brother in laws and some friends. They play at the Big League Dream field and it is so much fun. They have food, games and AIR CONDITIONING for the hot summer games. We always love to go watch and the girls love it cause we get to spend time with family!
